The SSWIM Steering Committee consists of nine members who will serve for two or three years.

  The first meeting was held October 5, 2009. John Ferree, Kevin Kloesel, Kristin Kuhlman, Randy Peppler, Russ Schneider, Paul Spicer, Carol Silva, and Aondover Tarhule attended. Members J. J. Gourley, Mark Shafer and May Yuan were unable to attend.
